30 December 2013 ~ Wonderful news! Cazzie has found a forever home with one of her long-term dog walkers. I’m so pleased that after all this time, she’s been adopted – and by someone she already knows. Great update to end this year with
The very beautiful Cazzie is at Bath Cats & Dogs Home and looking for a forever home of her very own. She is a seven year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier (Staffie) cross with the most gorgeous eyes and lovely brindle colouring. Please take a look through all of her photos and don’t miss the cute little video at the end
She has waited patiently for a long while now – surely it must be her time to shine? She really deserves a special home of her very own and I hope that she finds that soon.
According to Cazzie’s rehoming page, she is a friendly and affectionate dog who is very active and can be boisterous. She is looking for a home where she will be given the exercise and stimulation she needs to make sure she doesn’t get bored.
Cazzie loves to play – and I took her into the paddock for some off-lead fun and photography. I think she rather liked the new toy I bought for her – her pretty face is under there somewhere, really!
Cazzie had a good charge around with her new toy, then did some more posing for me, in exchange for some tuna cake, which she thought was rather delicious
The Home says that Cazzie is very people orientated and loves company, so she does suffer from separation anxiety, whining when left. Although she has not been destructive in kennels when left, she was in her previous home, so she has been crate trained. She should be fine to left in a new home for very short periods, if given a bone or chew to occupy her, but she does need a home where someone will be around for much of the day.
Cazzie’s little Staffie smile
Cazzie knows some basic commands but would benefit from further training as she is very excitable – however as she is very food orientated this shouldn’t be too much of a problem!
She seemed to be having such fun, it really made me smile
Cazzie enjoys her walks and she does pull on the lead (and is strong) but the Home says she walks better on a harness. Cazzie is obedient, but can be over the top at times, but she’s lovely!
Time for some posing … hasn’t she got the most beautiful eyes?
Cazzie would suit a family where any children are aged 12+. She is not good with other dogs and is looking for a new home where she is the only dog. She does need to be muzzled when out and about. She can not live with cats.
A very sweet little tongue poking out!
Cassie wishes she could find her forever home.
With belly rubs as part of the daily routine, perhaps!
Can you offer a loving and suitable home for the beautiful Cazzie? If you are seriously interested in adopting her, you will need to contact Bath Cats & Dogs Home on 01225 787 321, or complete the Home’s online rehoming form, which can be found here.
Please let them know that you saw Cazzie at Poochie Freak
Do please take a look at the little video clip of Cazzie too, she looks so sweet running around with her new toy! She is going to make a really fun companion for the right family, I truly hope she finds them very soon.
