Update January 2014 – I am so thrilled to be able to update various posts about the lovely Upton, with the wonderful news that he found a forever home at the end of last year. Fantastic!
The very sweet and handsome Upton (AKA Flumpy) is still waiting at Bath Cats & Dogs Home for the chance of a forever home. I wrote a full blog for him back in November, which you can read here and you can see his page on the rescue’s website here. He is looking for a special home where he is the only dog, where there are no cats and where any children are aged 14+.

I am a firm believer that there is a suitable home out there for pretty much every dog in rescue and I really hope Upton finds his very soon. I am not in the position to adopt him, but he has rather got to me and along with his lovely carer and his regular walkers and many others, would so love to see him find his forever home soon.
I don’t walk him regularly because I try to devote my time at the rescue to photographing new dogs on each visit, to try to help increase their chance of finding a home, but I do now have an informal agreement with him, whereby I always go and say hello and give him a treat. I’m sure he gives me a look until I have done this
