~ We may not have travelled to far-flung places, my darling boy, but our journey together on this earth was indeed an adventure.
It’s your gotcha day and I would so love to be able to hold you, but in just over a week’s time it will be four years since you had to leave for the Bridge.
I can still remember the first time we met, when I was asked to share Reiki with a skinny, nervous Collie boy at the rescue, and there you were, and there we fell in love.
I am eternally grateful that almost a year later I found myself in the position where I felt able to offer you a forever home. We’d got to know each other well in that time and I’d already considered you ‘my’ dog for a long while.
I love you and miss you so very much, my beautiful Sno. Today never used to hurt like this.
