Probably one of the best quotes ever. If you’re a dog lover, have the tissues ready and perhaps don’t watch it until you’re home!

Video by Pedigree. Thanks to this Good. that Bad. for showing me the video.
Fantastic advert. I truly hope it helps bring rescue/poundies further into the mainstream of dog ownership and encourages more people to realise that rescue dogs are just dogs that need a home. They need YOU.
If every good person that pitied a rescue dog went out and adopted one, there’d be a lot less dead dogs in this world.

The lovely Jasper Bear has been with us four months now, since we brought him home as an emergency foster for Oldies Club on New Year’s Eve and fell in love with him. Didn’t see that one coming
I’ve been looking at the photographs I’ve taken of him over the months and wanted to share these two. The first was taken on a walk the day after he arrived. The second just over a week ago, just after he’d played with a toy for the first time since he’d been here (photographs of that to follow at some point :)).
Now I know it’s only two photos, the light is different etc., but there is such a contrast, isn’t there? He was so sad when he arrived, after losing his previous owner and doggie friend and just wanted to go “home”. It really was heartbreakingWell now home is here and we are his family and he truly seems to be a happy Jasper Bear again. Some people have commented that with every new set of photos he seems to be getting younger – we think they may be onto something there
If you’re thinking of getting a dog – look into rescue and make one smile again

A while back I posted that one of my photographs had been selected by Lintbells to use on the Yumega Plus page of its website.
I’m very excited to say today that the photograph has now been added to the Lintbells’ van too. She’s going to be a well travelled black Labrador
